UPDATE - 4/9/10 - Soccer and Softball

Track season is winding down on campus, which means soccer and softball are right around the corner! Soccer will be offered for students in grades K-3, and softball will be for 4-8th graders. Coach Perry will be coaching both sports after school. Please see the following flyers for more information. We hope to see you out there on our brand new field!

UPDATE - 2/8/10 - Sports Schedule Change

Because our new field is not yet ready for use, after-school Soccer and Softball have been postponed. Instead we will be starting our Track and Field season early for all students in grades K-8. As usual, K-3 will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 4th-8th grade on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning the week of February 15. Please see the following flyers for more information. 2009-2010 AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS SCHEDULE

The following is the schedule of after school sports that will be offered at ALCS for the 2009-2010 school year. We hope to see you every season!!

11/30 - 02/05: Basketball (K-3, 4-8)

02/08 - 04/09: Soccer (K-3), Softball (4-8)

04/12 - 06/04: Track (K-3, 4-8)

 
UPDATE - 11/02/09 - Basketball Season!

Volleyball and T-ball are in their final stretches of the season, and it's been a blessing for both our young athletes and Coach Perry. And while we may be disappointed to see the season come to a close, basketball season is following closely behind, beginning at the end of November!! Basketball is open for all students in grades K-8; the K-3 group will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school, and grades 4-8 will practice on Mondays and Wednesdays. Please see the following fliers/sign-up forms for more information, and be sure to get yours in by November 18. Coach Perry will also need lots of parent volunteers to help monitor the kids during practice, so please help out if you can!!

UPDATE - 10/08/09 - Scrimmage Monday, Oct. 12!!

Our volleyball team gave a strong fight in our match against Upland Christian Academy this past Monday. Although we lost a tough match, our athletes showed great effort and progress, and are excited for our next match: Monday, October 12, at 3:00 p.m. We will be playing Calvary Baptist, here on the ALCS campus. Come out and root us on!
 
UPDATE - 09/29/09
Our co-ed volleyball team will have its first game against Upland Christian on Monday, October 5. The game will start promptly at 3:00 p.m. and be held on the ALCS campus. We hope to see you there showing support for our young athletes!!

 

Our After School Sports Program is going super strong! Mrs. Perry is coaching co-ed T-ball for students in grades K-3, and co-ed volleyball for students in grades 3-8. T-ball practice takes place every Tuesday and Thursday after school, while volleyball meets on Mondays and Wednesdays. Stay tuned for all of the athletic excitement!!
