CLASS SUPPLY LISTS Dear Parents, Your academic fee covers the cost of most consumable school supplies (pencils, paper, markers, crayons, folders, planners, binders, art supplies, etc.). The following is the list that your child’s teacher is requesting the parents to provide per student. You may bring these items to the classroom on Orientation Day (Thursday, August 20, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to noon) or on the first day of school. Middle School (Sixth, Seventh, Eighth Grade) Parent Supply List Student Emergency Supply Kit* 3 boxes of Kleenex tissues 2 containers Clorox or similar wipes 1 whiteboard eraser (clean sock or wash cloth) 1 backpack (wheels ok) $4.00 for a lock and the signed locker contract (This is available in the school office) 7th and 8th grade only: 1 scientific calculator including sin, con, tan, and square root symbol ($9 at Walmart) *The Student Emergency Supply Kit is stored in the classroom in the event of a major emergency that would require students to remain on campus for a lengthy amount of time before being picked up by family members. It consists of 3 granola bars & 3 water bottles in a plastic bag with the child's first and last name written on the outside in permanent marker. You may also include a note from the parents and a family photograph, both intended to comfort your child in this type of difficult situation, if you so desire. |
