I have left all of the supplies on the back counter - black construction paper, glow in the dark yarn, glow in the dark stars, glue, and metallic markers. You have all been assigned a constellation which you are to re-create on a piece of black construction paper. Here are the steps you are to use to complete your project. 

1. You are to research and find a picture of your constellation which you will use for reference when recreating the constellation on your paper.

2. You will use a pencil or even a white crayon to sketch out your constellation on a piece of black construction paper.

3. Once you have carefully sketched your constellation, you can then use the yarn and stars to create your constellation. You can use Elmer's glue for the yarn which will be the line of the constellation. You can use the foam stickers for the stars or Elmer's glue - which ever you choose.

4. You need to write the name of the constellation across the top of their paper neatly - like a nice proper title.  Your name should be written in the bottom right hand corner of the paper.

5. If you have time, research the names of the stars / star groups that make up the constellation you are working on. Label each star on your paper appropriately. Not all stars have names, but most constellations have at least one star / star group that is named.

6. Take a picture of the finished project and upload it to google classroom. Once your project is dry, you can put your work in a pile on the back counter.
