Current Openings

Alta Loma Christian School has an opening for a elementary teaching position starting in August 2024. Alta Loma Christian School is not only a job but also a mission to serve Christ. We have a family-like atmosphere with academic excellence.

Full-time Classroom Teacher

Primary Responsibilities:

Create and deliver engaging lessons with special emphasis on collaborative and "hands-on" experiences
Work collaboratively to create and implement a program of study that is intellectually challenging
Follow prescribe curriculum, supplementing as necessary
Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests (differentiated instruction)
Advise students in areas of character and morality
Effectively manage the classroom
Maintain frequent contact with ALCS families
Implement ALCS policies and procedures

Requirements/ Qualifications

Must have a solid Christian testimony as well as a calling to minister to students
Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university
ACSI teacher certification required or the willingness to pursue ACSI certification
At least one year experience teaching

Subs for Elementary & Middle School Teachers

Start Date: Ongoing
Full-Time/FT Equivalency: Substitute, as needed
Salary Range: $187.50 per day depending on educational qualifications

All of our faculty members are required to have a Bachelor’s degree and an ACSI Teacher’s Certificate. A Master’s degree or state teacher credential is preferred. Staff members should be qualified for the positions for which they are hired. All hiring is at the discretion of the school administration team.
