After a three-year hiatus, Alta Loma Christian School is excited to relaunch its after-school STEM Rocketry program, beginning January 2023. STEM Rocketry is open to first through third grade students, and will present our young scientists with an opportunity to build the following skills:
- Aerodynamics
- Rocketry
- Engineering
- Space science
- Scientific method
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- The 3 C's: Collaboration - Communication - Creativity
- Innovation
- Entrepreneurship
STEM Rocketry will be led by our very own Mr. Slane, who will lead students in a wide variety of hands-on lessons and projects every Thursday after school.
Students must complete the application if they wish to join the program. Applications must be completed by the students themselves and turned in to the office by Tuesday, December 13, 2022 to be considered for acceptance.
