Dear Families and Friends of ALCS,
Greetings to you in Christ! I hope you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
As we turn our attention to the celebration of Christmas, we are reminded that Jesus is the greatest Gift of all. As Scripture tells us, “Every good and perfect gift is from above” (James 1:17).
One of the good gifts–one that shines the light on the greatest Gift–is Alta Loma Christian School. By the grace and blessing of God, we all get to join together to love our children and teach them the 21st century skills and 1st century faith needed for true success.
Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday in the U.S., the day after Cyber Monday, known as a "global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world." That sounds like a perfect description of ALCS!
On Giving Tuesday, more than 45,000 organizations will receive financial support from people just like you. As a private Christian school, this is vital, as we do not receive direct government funds for education, relying on God’s provision through tuition, fees, and heartfelt gifts from friends like you.
While our EagleWalk walk-a-thon fundraiser was a great success, we are still just shy of our overall annual financial goal for donations. So, in the spirit of Giving Tuesday, I invite you to give on behalf of our children and the remarkable learning that takes place every day at ALCS.
