Your job is to learn about (research) a religion/faith system/philosophy of your choice, and present on it. Complete the outline provided for you. Feel free to add anything else you think is important. Outline is due by the start of class Tuesday
When your outline is given the OK, start your presentation. It should include the information from the outline + your final thoughts on the religion/philosophy. Do you agree with most of it, disagree with most of it? etc.
If you are presenting a mythology, let us know what happened to it - why aren't those gods still worshipped today (or are they)?

Hearing that Jesus “died on the cross for us” over and over can cause a desensitization (we lose the emotional feeling of what He went through). How does learning what the Cross actually entailed change anything for you and your views about Jesus’ death? Why is understanding the suffering of Jesus so important, and what value does it bring to our culture now? Do you think people would think differently about God and Jesus if everyone was aware of what actually happened, and how does all of this point to God’s severe love for us
Due:

Due:
Respond to the following quote: “In order to heal, you must stay away from what broke you.” Agree or disagree? Why or why not? Personal examples? Is this a Biblical principle?
Due:
Add a new slide, title it with your name, and write something that you appreciate, love, and/or respect about both students.

We all have ideas about how to determine who should make it into Heaven, and who shouldn’t, and in this next project, you’re going to lay out a formal system as if God has put you in charge of this process.
Activity: Imagine that God has put you in charge of determining “who’s in and who’s out.” Do you create a Heaven and a hell? If so, how do you decide who goes to Heaven and who goes to Hell? How do "good deeds" and "bad deeds" play into it? Is it forever? temporary? give detail. Your plan needs to be thorough, as it will affect millions of people from the beginning of time to the end of time.
Put it into the padlet below
